How Zablon Singer landed the deal to perform at Ruto's swearing-in

 

Tanzanian choir Zablon Singers have opened up on how they landed the deal to perform at William Ruto's inauguration in Kasarani.

" Willim Ruto's people  had initially called us to use our song during the campaign but later we got an invite via the government of Tanzania," said Japeth

Victoria Zablon a member of the choir says they feel blessed to have been chosen among hundreds of choirs

" In Kenya and Tanzania there are good choirs but we were lucky to have been called to entertain Presidents.

This is a sign of  God's greatness in our lives."

Japeth Zabron said the Tanzania government congratulated them via the Government spokesperson for representing the country.

"We were very happy.

We had asked God to give us a breakthrough but we did not expect it to come this way."

The Permanent Presidential Music Commission (PPMC)  released a list of artists performing at President-elect William Ruto's inauguration.

The list comprised both gospel and secular artists.

Those lined up to perform include gospel singer Guardian Angel, Nadia Mukami, Arrow Bwoy, Solomon Mkubwa, Bridget Blue, and Anastacia Mukabwa among others.

Comedian Chipukeezy was among MCs who led the entrainment session at Ruto's Inauguration.

The group says they have never performed for such a Prominent person not even I n their country.
