Bishop Gakuyo Handed Jubilee Nomination Ticket For Thika Town MP Seat

Controversial cleric David Kariuki Ngari Gakuyo has been handed the Jubilee nomination ticket to vie for the Thika Town parliamentary seat in the upcoming August 9th General Election.

Bishop Gakuyo was given a direct ticket following consensus talks with Nduati Njuguna.

Speaking after receiving the ticket on Friday, Bishop Ngari called on the Mt.Kenya region to support the Jubilee Party to ensure it clinches the majority of elective seats in the country.

He says only through capturing Majority seats that the Mt Kenya region will have a negotiating stake.

The cleric says Jubilee’s method of identifying candidates through consensus averted divisions in the party.

At the same time, Bishop Gakuyo has called for respect of President Uhuru Kenyatta whom he says has the best interests of the Mount Kenya region calling on those who feel aggrieved after the Jubilee nomination process to stick with the party as a measure of loyalty.   BY CITIZEN DIGITAL
