Others appointed include Michael Ouma, who will serve as the new Director of Communications.

The commission has further appointed Chrispine Otieno Owiye as the Director of Legal Services.

Owiye is an advocate of the High Court with 18 years of post-admission experience.

This comes two days after the Commission appointed Marjan Hussein Marjan as the CEO.

Marjan was preferred for the post after an interview held on Tuesday.

Before his appointment, Marjan held the position in an acting capacity since April 2019.

His rise started after he was appointed by Chebukati as the October 2017 repeat presidential poll coordinator.     BY THE STAR
