A small bird who attended the meeting said the MP was clear that the hustler nation movement was drowning her reelection bid in her backyard. Stung by the entrance of a new competitor seeking to remove her in the 2022 polls, the MP has panicked and is plotting all manner of political schemes to ensure her reelection. An MP is said to be shuttling from one home to another in a bid to evade auctioneers who are seeking to recover millions of shillings owed to a company in Nairobi. The legislator is also said to be running away from commercial banks pursuing him for defaulting on several loans. Sources said the lawmaker has been going through financial difficulties lately but one would hardly notice as he puts on a brave face as he goes about his daily duties as a legislator. The MP is said to go to extreme lengths just to avoid being found at home by the auctioneers and the banks.

The former MP is under pressure for allegedly auctioning his party to a governor said to be planning to run for a higher office next year. Despite having previously assured aspirants that his party will be available for them, he is apparently in hibernation and no longer picks calls.
