‘Let no one bully you,’ Fans continue telling Emmy Kosgei

Last week, gospel minister Emmy Kosgei was trolled for her comments that Kalenjin men don’t know how to approach a woman they are interested in.

During an online interview with Alfred Koech she said the problem the community has is people being introverts.

“Instead of someone hitting the nail on the head, they start asking the girl whether it rained at their place and seeking more details about their home, which is not necessary,” she said

To her surprise, after she had got hitched to her Nigerian husband Anselm Madubuko, four Kalenjin men approached her for a serious relationship.

She said they are  afraid of airing their feelings until it is too late.

“An example is a pan, you feel like having it but you do not put it in action and when the pan is taken away by another person, you start questioning why,” she said.

After the video went viral, Emmy has received alot of backlash but she has chosen to only inspire and motivate people on her social media

“In this life I have learnt that Every battle is not to be fought not all calls are to be answered master the art of inquiring of God, the Lord of battles…some he allows for his glory ,he knows the source and how to handle. so when he says shhhh be still ,be still and let him take care of it .. when he says move , move and rest assured he gat you! Wait for the signalmeanwhile our focus is in Jesus in the midst of storm , it’s our koinonea moment what a privilege to partake of the cup … thank you Jesus!” She wrote

In another encouraging post, she quoted 1st Samuel 2:3-4

Talk no more so very proudly; let not arrogance go forth from your mouth, for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.

The bows of the mighty are broken, and those who stumbled are girded with strength.
