Four siblings charged with armed robbery in Eldoret

Four siblings arrested in connection with a series of violent robberies were charged in an Eldoret court on Friday.
The three brothers and one sister are alleged to be members of a gang that has been terrorising villagers in Lugari.
Olivia Kakai, Marline Bushuru, David Odinga and Cleophas Barasa were accused of robbing trader Adan Hassan of Sh3,100 in cash as well as leather bags, jackets, shoes and other items, all valued at Sh18,100, on September 5 at Soweto market.
They denied the charge and were released on a Sh300,000 bond each.
The hearing is on September 23.
