Raila, Ruto, Mudavadi battle for Western

William Ruto
Political daggers have been drawn in western Kenya as well-known political allies - Vice President William Ruto, leader of the Orange Raila Odinga Democratic Movement and Chair of the National Congress of Amani Musalia Mudavadi - fighting to control the region ahead of the 2022 General Election.

Mr Ruto has plunged into the region that voted for Odinga in the last three elections, while Mr Mudavadi, who also expressed his interest in the top seat, was interested in mobilizing regional support.

WARNING

Ally Mr Odinga told pro-Ruto supporters to prepare for bruising battles.

DP points in the region are former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga, Hamisi MP Charles Gimose, former Senator Kakamega Boni Khalwale and Mumias East MP MP Ben Washiali.

Ruto's allies have formed a team to coordinate and popularize his presidential offer.

However, Oppa Governor Kakamega Wycliffe, Senator Cleophas Malala and Parliament Member appointed by Godfrey Osotsi have called on MPs who support the Vice President to forget regional votes.

Mr Oparnya, who is also the chair of the Board of Governors, told leaders that the west "has owners".

"The West is home to the surviving National Super Alliance," he said, telling foot soldiers Ruto to tread carefully.

Referring to the loose grouping of supporters of Ruto, Mr Oponya said: "Tangatangas who are accustomed to driving west must start counting their movements because we are watching and will fight them. We want them to come respectfully. "

MUNAFIK

Mr Malala said the 2022 presidential contest would be a do-or-die battle.

While Mr OpARA said he would be in the next presidential election, Mr Malala did not reveal his chosen candidate.

Mudavadi criticized opposition leaders who worked with the government, arguing that it was a hypocrite.

Amani's leader said he was preparing to form a government in 2022 and that he was not interested in government work "like my colleagues at NASA".

The statement was a jibe directed at Mr Odinga and Wiper's party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, who had worked with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

However, his critics questioned his role in several government functions he had recently attended, especially during the launch of the Huduma Namba service earlier this year.

Nominated lawmaker, Godffrey Osotsi - an ANC member - blamed his party's leader for criticizing those who worked with the government.

RECIPILED

"In April, Mudavadi launched the Huduma Namba list in Kajiado. In what capacity does he do that if he does not work with the government? "MP pose submitted.

Sabatia MP Alfred Agoi, an ally of Mudavadi, said his party's boss had supported other leaders in the past, adding that it was time for the movement to return.

"However, we must reflect on who the best candidates are. Mudavadi helped Raila, who told us that he only had one bullet that had now been used up, "Agoi said.

MP tells allies to Ruto.

"The interior of CS Fred Matiang'i that we can involve when we want development. We cannot follow someone who comes to light a streetlight that dies when he is gone, "he said.

Vihiga Senator George Khaniri, who is always believed to be a supporter of Odinga, yesterday told voters in the West to unite behind Mudavadi.
