Mandera South deputy county commissioner, Mr Daniel Bundotich, has died.
Mandera County Commissioner Kutswa Olaka, who confirmed his death, said Mr Bundotich died at the Valley Hospital in Nakuru County on Saturday where he had been admitted for three days.
Elwak assistant county commissioner, Mr Paul Kemei, said he was shocked by the death.
“He sent me a text around 10am yesterday (Saturday) instructing me to work on something,” said Mr Kemei.
Mr Bundotich had been serving in Mandera County for 14 months.
