Police have shot and killed two suspected robbers in Kahawa Wendani, Kiambu County.
Ruiru OCPD James Ng’etich on Sunday said that two others escaped.
“Police heard women screaming for help as they were being robbed.
“When the officers went to rescue the women the robbers started firing at them and the officers managed to shoot two. Two armed robbers escaped,” Mr Ng’etich said.
Residents said the suspected robbers have been terrorising them for a while.
