Several people trapped after building collapses in Ruai

Several people are feared trapped after a four-storey building collapsed in Ruai, east of Nairobi, on Saturday.
Kenya Red Cross said one person was rescued and taken to Mama Lucy Hospital.

Rescuers at the scene said the man was the caretaker.
The building, a guest house, is situated along the Eastern Bypass interchange.

By 3pm, rescuers had removed debri up to the second floor of the building and were still working to remove the rubble.
No body has so far been retrieved and people said to be trapped in the building are yet to be found.
