No student was injured during a dormitory fire at Wang’apala Boys Secondary in Homa Bay County on Friday.
Rachuonyo East Director of Education Samuel Nyantika said the students were in class studying.
However, he said property of unknown value was destroyed in the evening inferno.
“The fire broke out when students were outside the dormitory. But none of them was injured in the incident,” Mr Nyantika said.
He said the cause of the evening incident is not yet known.
