Kericho: Heartbreak as Kabianga University Graduate Dies 4 Days after Graduation

Photo: Kabianga University. Source: Facebook Ruth Omariba’s delight after graduating from the university was cut short under unknown circumstances. The young lady had graduated from Kabianga University when she met her fate, leaving her family shattered. How did Ruth Omariba die? Her tragic death left not only her family devastated but also the educational institution, as they struggled to come to terms with her demise.

“Ruth Omariba, a recent graduate from Kabianga University, was found dead days after completing her degree. The news has sent shockwaves through the university and the wider community, leaving many in grief and disbelief.  According to reports, Ruth had just graduated from the University of Kabianga and was looking forward to starting her career. Her sudden passing has raised concerns and questions about the circumstances surrounding her death,” Kabianga University shared. They also posted a picture of Ruth adorned in her graduation regalia as she joined other graduates in marking the milestone. When did Kabianga University hold its graduation? The institution held its 13th graduation ceremony on Friday, November 14, at the University Pavilion on the main campus. Ruth passed away four days after the ceremony, with her future plans and hopes remaining unfulfilled. “The university and local authorities have not released further details about the incident, and an investigation is likely underway. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Ruth’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time,” the post continued.

Kenyans mourn Ruth Omariba Social media users flocked to the comment section of the post as they penned emotional messages. Mc Brian Mkaveli: “Why our comrades… God, please, we plead with you to intervene.” Jày Fràñklíné: “So tragic, but Almighty God knows why. May the Lord comfort the family in this hard moment.” Geofrey Kaiser: “Very painful, pole sana kwa familia.” Linet Kemunto: “It’s so painful to lose one of your family members. Take heart. All of us are on the stage—kila mtu siku yake ikiwadia hataaga.” Amy Rodz: “I feel horrible! So sad. May she rest in peace, and may God wrap His loving arms around her family during these hard and painful times.” Irene Peachrene: “So painful. May the Lord comfort the family.” LaTonya SpaTes: “Imagine how excited the family was, then all of their joy was stolen from them. This is so very sad. May her family find peace.”
