Murang’a Boy with No Hope of Joining High School after Dad’s Death Weeps after Finally Reporting

 

Collins Gitau, a young boy who had lost hope of ever joining high school, has finally joined Gaichanjiru High School almost a month after the rest had joined the school. Collins Gitau and his sister Mary Wanjiku outside his school.  Where is Naaro? On February 7, Mercy Nungari shared that Gitau was still at home at Naaro, Murang’a, despite scoring 301 marks in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).  At the time, Nungari also shared that Gitau’s dad was allegedly murdered and called upon governor Irungu Kangata to help the family get justice.
