The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has warned of power interruptions in several areas across the country on Tuesday, April 2.
In a statement on Monday evening, the company announced that some areas in three counties of Kenya will be without electricity between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Counties affected include Nairobi, Makueni, Bomet, Homa Bay, and Nyeri.
In Nairobi County, several areas including Muthaiga and Nairobi West will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Meanwhile, some parts of Kaumoni area in Makueni County will also be affected by power interruptions.
Several areas in Tenwek area of Bomet County will also experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
In Homa Bay County, some parts of Rusinga and Kaswanga areas will be affected by power outages between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Giakanja area in Nyeri County will also experience power interruptions between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
