A Kenyan man is still in disbelief after hearing his son recite the Lord’s prayer. A father was stunned by his son’s take on the Lord’s prayer. Man asks son to pray for him The dad, who goes by @luq_eezy on TikTok, shared a clip of his four-year-old son saying the Lord’s prayer. He captioned it: “Wooiii my school fees.” In the video, the man asks the little boy to pray for him. “Clain, I want you to pray for me,” he says. The little boy happily starts reciting the Lord’s prayer. However, his recitation leaves his father stunned. “Our father, one to eleven, hallowed be the name a kingdom stan,” the boy started. His innocent rendition quickly turned into an adorable muddle of words, leaving his father utterly bemused. “And forgive us our 10 per cent…give us temptation but deliver us for rivers, for thy is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen,” he concluded proudly. The actual Lord’s prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever, Amen. Reactions to the little boy’s Lord prayer recitation The hilarious clip elicited several reactions from netizens, most of whom were amused by the boy’s recital. @GK SERKAL: “Hahaha enda shule yao ukiwa na OB from the police station and an invoice of all your fees and tell them you want a refund.” @eyan: “Did I hear, forgive our 10%? hataki kutoa tithe huyu.” @unimathi: “He said ‘give us temptation’ surely.” @Mariah B: “We’ve been praying the wrong thing… it’s about the 10% ya tithe.” @melvinregina: “Immediately, he started by saying 1 to 11.
