Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has spoken about the Blues’ links with Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho. Chelsea are reportedly looking for a left-winger, and Garnacho perfectly fits the bill. Speaking ahead of the Blues huge Premier League clash at Manchester City, Maresca gave an interesting response to the Garnacho question. “I’m happy with what we have in this moment,” the Chelsea boss said via Football London. “On the right, it’s [Pedro] Neto and Noni [Madueke].” “On the left, we have [Jadon] Sancho. We had Misha [Mykhailo Mudryk] but he’s not with us. Tyrique [George] is an option.” Napoli’s bid was also rejected earlier this month as they search for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s replacement. Man United boss Ruben Amorim was asked about Garnacho’s future. “No, I’m focused on the games and he’s here, he’s a player for Manchester United,” Amorim said. “[He] was really important for us today and let’s see in the next days. “I think he’s improving in every aspect of the game. He was better today playing inside, also outside, changing positions, he’s improving the recovering position.”

Will Garnacho leave Man United? The 20-year-old played the full 90 minutes against Rangers and was one of the brilliant performers. According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are yet to make a bid for the youngster. The report adds that the five-time Premier League champions are looking for options for the left wing. Mykhailo Mudryk is provisionally suspended after failing a drugs test, while Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix could leave the club. Transfermarkt values Garnacho’s at €50m With Napoli close to signing Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, Garnacho will have to wait until the window shuts to learn his fate.
