“He was abducted three days before he was expected to travel to Israel after securing a scholarship to study master’s in agricultural engineering. He had asked me to get him the money for the air ticket. I tried my best to get KSh 100,000 plus pocket money. Since I did not have that money, I was forced to borrow from someone and return it with interest,” she said.
