A 31-year-old man was on Tuesday night beaten to death by his neighbour at Tuwan village in Saboti, Trans Nzoia County after he found him in a compromising position with his wife.
The police said the neighbour found Mr Kelvin Keruba in his house at 9pm and attacked him as he tried to run away.
Trans Nzoia West OCPD Jackson Mwenga said the victim, a businessman in Kitale town, was found unconscious outside the neighbour’s house by his brother.
The brother was assisted by villagers to take him to hospital where he died.
“He was rushed to Mt Elgon Hospital in Kitale where he succumbed to his injuries,” the police boss told the Nation on Wednesday.
Mr Mwenga said preliminary investigations showed that the deceased was hit by a blunt object on the head.
Police is looking for the man, who is said to have gone into hiding after the incident.
