Power blackout hits Kapsabet ahead of presidential results

 

A power blackout has hit Kapsabet town and neighbouring areas as residents are anxiously waiting for the announcement of the presidential results.

Residents have protested over the blackout, urging the Kenya power company to act as quickly as possible.

Residents have already gathered at various entertainment joints waiting to watch live the IEBC announcement.

“We are so anxious and Kenya Power company should not let us down with this blackout,” said a resident Paul Kirwa.   BY THE STAR
