President Ruto at Uganda’s 60th Independence celebrations

 

President William Ruto is in Uganda for the country’s 60th Independence celebrations. Ahead of the celebrations, President Museveni held talks with the Kenyan Head of State.

“I held a fruitful discussion with H.E @WilliamsRuto at State House Entebbe this evening, we discussed matters of mutual interest to our nations and people. Ungana nami kumkaribisha Rais wa Jamhuri ya Kenya.”

In the delegation with President Ruto is CS Nominee Alfred Mutua.

The celebrations are being held  at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.  This year’s theme is, ‘A declaration of African Interdependence and our shared destiny.’

Congratulations to all Ugandans on the attainment of 60 years of Independence.
