A requiem mass was on Wednesday held at the Consolata Shrine in Westlands in honour of the late Marya Elizabeth Adjibodou.
Adjibodou was the daughter of former Vice President Moody Awori.
She passed away on the evening of Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
Marya was a senior staffer at the Senate assembly. She worked as principal assistant clerk.
A sombre mood was witnessed at the shrine as family and friends congregated to pay their last respects.
Present during the mass service was her father Awori and Narok Senator Ledama Olekina.
She leaves behind her husband Michael Adjibodou and two children Folsade Adjibodou and Adebayo J Adjibodou. BY THE STAR
