Kenya Railways has warned Kenyans against falling victims to fraudulent websites, social media pages and individuals orchestrating train booking fraud.
In a statement, Kenya Railways says that the aforementioned websites, social media pages and individuals are impersonating the Corporation to deceive customers into making payments through fraudulent channels, resulting in financial loss.
“If you have fallen victim to train booking fraud, please report the incident immediately by calling 0709 907 000 or 0709 907 555, or by emailing info@krc.co.ke,” Kenya Railways says.
The Corporation insists that the SGR Madaraka Express Passenger Service tickets should only be booked through the official Kenya Railways booking channels;

The Corporation is working closely with the relevant security agencies to investigate these fraudulent activities and bring the perpetrators to justice.
