The quarter-final lineup for the CAF Confederation Cup has been confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage on Sunday, setting the stage for an exciting knockout phase.
Egyptian giants Zamalek SC and former champions USM Alger are among the heavyweights who booked their spots in the last eight after impressive campaigns.
The knockout stage will feature clubs from Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, DR Congo and Congo — underlining the strong regional competition in this season’s tournament.
How the groups unfolded
In Group A, USM Alger finished top with 14 points after an unbeaten run of four wins and two draws. Morocco’s Olympique de Safi followed closely with 13 points to secure second place.
Moroccan powerhouse Wydad AC dominated Group B, collecting 15 points from six matches, including five wins. DR Congo’s Maniema Union clinched the second qualification slot with 12 points.
Group C saw Algeria’s CR Belouizdad top the standings with 15 points, while Congo’s Otoho d’Oyo finished second with nine points to progress.
In Group D, Zamalek emerged winners with 11 points. Fellow Egyptian side Al Masry SC grabbed the final quarter-final ticket with 10 points, edging out Kaizer Chiefs on goal difference in a tightly contested group.
Quarter-final draw details
The quarter-final draw will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Egyptian Football Association Auditorium in Cairo. The event is scheduled for 1:00pm Cairo time (11:00 GMT) and will be streamed live on CAF’s official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
With the group stage drama now behind them, Africa’s top clubs shift focus to the two-legged quarter-finals as the race for continental glory intensifies.
