President William Samoei Ruto stirred a meeting in Rotian and later sparked reactions on social media when he proudly introduced his children and their careers during a church service. Ruto had just finished his speech about other national issues, and afterwards, he said that people can see someone walk around and not know they have children. He then turned around and started by introducing his daughter, June, recognising that although she was older, she was also the shortest of the trio. He then turned to George Ruto, who is a pilot and is one of the most recognizable members of the Ruto family. “The tall one is George, and he is a pilot and does a lot of other things,” said Ruto, who indicated that George was also a businessman; one of his most prolific ventures is being a matatu owner, with his vehicle, Mood, being one of his most recognizable.
“Nicholas is also a lawyer and does his own things,” shared the proud father of six, who has also used such opportunities to introduce his other children.
