For as long as I can remember, I believed that education was the golden key that would open every door I desired. I grew up being told that if I studied hard, passed my exams, and walked out of university with a degree in hand, life would kneel before me.
So when I graduated from a respected university in Uasin Gishu County with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology, I was certain that my destiny was finally unfolding in the right direction.
But life taught me a different truth.It wasn’t long before I discovered that the world outside the university gates was not the paradise I had imagined. The reality hit me harder than I expected — success wasn’t guaranteed, and opportunities were not served on a silver platter.
