Siaya senator Oburu Oginga has opened up about also going to Ayurvedic Hospital in India for treatment, weeks before his brother, Raila Odinga died. Oburu Oginga shared that he sought treatment at Ayurdevic Hospital two months before Raila Odinga visited the facility. Raila was at the same facility where he was resting and was scheduled to travel to Dubai two days before he died. He reportedly collapsed while on his morning walk and was rushed to the hospital but efforts to keep him alive did not bear fruit. When did Oburu Oginga visit Ayurdevic hospital? However, Oburu, while in an interview with Ramogi TV, revealed that he had been seeking treatment at the facility.

“I talked to Jakom (Raila) the night before he died. In the morning, I received news that he fell down. This was after he left the main hospital where he had gone to in India, so where he was, was a facility that was using traditional medicine. That was the same facility that helped our daughter, Rosemary Odinga, when her eyes were giving her problems and not even Kenyan, South African and Israeli doctors and China twice and German could help. But Ayurvedic helped her and she was healed. It was a facility that majorly helps with eye issues,” he said. According to Oburu, Raila was resting at the facility where he was fond of going before his scheduled flight. “It is a place you can rest and detox for your body to be okay. They massage people well. That was why Jakom loved going there sometimes to rest. I was also there two months ago and that is why you can see my body looks new and they call me youth leader,” he added. He also narrated how he found out about his brother’s death and shared that Raila had walked five times around the facility before he collapsed. Watch the video below: Here are some of the comments from social media users: @Despirado said: “This Baba story in India still makes me lose sleep.”

@Owino said: “Youth leader has spoken.” @Mtoto wa Atieno said: “Will I ever heal jameni?” @Makalila said: “I think Jakom’s exercise was too hard for his muscles. Na ndio maana tulimpoteza.”  @Nyar Ugenya said: “I still wonder what prompted Raila to go for this morning walk.” @Becky said: “May Baba keep resting.” Oburu Oginga was very Raila Odinga’s elder brother and the two were very close to each other. While giving out details, he shared how Kenyans had overpowered them and took Raila’s body to Kasarani Stadium. According to him, he left the stadium even before Raila’s body arrived so he could take the news home. He added that Winnie was the one who saw everything that happened as she was with her dad till he breathed his last.
