Kenyans have come out in large numbers to console the father of former Citizen TV scribe Kimani Mbugua after he posted some photos of the day his son’s body arrived in Nairobi. Kimani Mbugua died in Mombasa on October 15, which was the same day Kenyans learnt that their leader, Raila Odinga, was dead. Kimani had been battling bipolar disorder, which saw him admitted in and out of rehab several times. After learning of his death, Mike Sonko, who helped get him into the rehab, shared a moving message that confirmed the untimely death. When Mbugua came out and shared his struggles after a bipolar disorder, people came out in large numbers.
While confirming his death, Sonko, who helped him return to rehab vowed to give a comprehensive report. After Kimani’s dad shared some photos, he also shared the God Be with You Till We Meet Again by Cole Weaver and the Weaver. How did Kenyans react to the story?
