Back pain is something most people dismiss as “just part of aging.” For me, it was much more than that. What started as mild discomfort slowly grew into unbearable, chronic pain that robbed me of my independence. I couldn’t sit comfortably, I couldn’t stand for long, and on most days, even walking across the room felt like climbing a mountain.
The worst part was the dependency it created. I once prided myself on being strong and capable, but chronic back pain reduced me to someone who needed help with almost everything.
