Residents of Hamisi in Vihiga County were left in disbelief on Monday, August 4, 2025, after a young mother delivered three baby girls who were shockingly joined at the chest, stomach and lower abdomen in what doctors called an extremely rare and complicated case of triplet conjoinment.
The 24-year-old mother, identified only as Brenda to protect her privacy, had gone into labour at a local dispensary and later transferred in panic to Vihiga County Referral Hospital after midwives noticed the first baby was emerging with limbs tangled unusually with those of two others.Doctors and nurses rushed to conduct an emergency caesarean operation that lasted over three hours but were utterly shocked when the delivery ended with three live babies all conjoined.To read more ,click here
