Jamaican music producer Tarik Johnston, known professionally as Rvssian, has shared the heartbreaking news of his brother’s unexpected death.
He announced the loss in an emotional Instagram post on Monday, 28th, revealing that his brother passed away the day before.
“Yesterday, I found out that my brother had suddenly passed away. It’s been hard to process, and I’m still trying to come to terms with it.”

Taking Time to Grieve
In his post, Rvssian asked for understanding as he steps away from social media during this difficult time.
“This is a very difficult time for me and my family. I may be quiet on social media for a while as I take time to deal with everything.”
Honouring Commitments
Despite the personal loss, Rvssian says he plans to continue work on his latest project, Story Book Riddim, as a show of respect to the artists involved.
“Even though things are heavy right now, I will do my best to complete it out of respect for the artists who gave their time and energy to be a part of it.”
