A majority of the commenters noted that the new appointments were subtly by Raila who some lauded for ensuring there is regional and gender balancing.
Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga observed that the ODM boss was not biased on ethnic or gender terms when he was apparently accorded the chance to make appointments in government. According to Omanga, the veteran politico was fair in his end of the bargain with Ruto.
