DP Rigathi Gachagua thanked the Kalenjn community for always giving him cows

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has revealed that his dairy farming success is largely thanks to the generosity of the Kalenjin community. DP Rigathi Gachagua thanked the Kalenjn community for always giving him cows.  Speaking during a press briefing on Monday, October 7, Gachagua shared how he has received numerous cows from the Rift Valley region.  The second in command stated that the cows have been in appreciation for his support of President William Ruto. “I do make an income of almost KSh 1.5 million every month. I can surely afford to buy two acres of land, and I take this opportunity to thank my brothers from the Kalenjin community for that dairy farm.

I want to thank them for their kindness,” Gachagua said. When did Gachagua receive cows He explained that every time he visits the Rift Valley, the community gifts him one or two cows as a token of their gratitude. The embattled DP explained that their contributions had seen his farm rank among the top in his Mathira backyard. “Any time I have gone to the Rift Valley, in appreciation of the support I gave President William Ruto, the Kalenjin community always gives me a cow or two. Within two years, I now have the largest dairy farm in Mathira constituency courtesy of them,” he added.  The Deputy President’s remarks come amid his efforts to defend himself from the ongoing impeachment motion.
