Natalie Tewa

Kenyan YouTuber Natalie Tewa has opened up about her love for being in relationships, describing herself as a “relationship girl.”

On her YouTube channel, she revealed that her friendships have often taken a backseat to her romantic life. “My friendships have gotten better, but back in the day, I was a lone ranger,” she shared.

“I have a very bad habit — when I’m dating, and I’m always in a relationship, I tend to make my partner my best friend. I’m so involved in my relationships that I forget about my other friendships. As I grow older, I’m realizing I have to be more intentional with my friends.”

Recently, Natalie also revealed that she is no longer engaged. Faced with a flurry of questions from her audience, she mentioned she would address them in a YouTube video due to the volume.

One particularly interesting question concerned her past engagement. When asked, “What happened to engaged era Tewa?” she responded candidly, “Lool, mehhhn, that didn’t work out, and I’m not one to do things for society if I’m not happy.”

She stressed that it was a significant turning point for her, adding, “The right time will come.”

A year ago, as she was approaching her 30th birthday, Natalie spoke about the pressure she felt to get married.

She had been engaged to a Kenyan man living in the Netherlands and discussed how they navigated their long-distance relationship.

“We just have set days, set months where we decide, okay, this month is for travel, so you budget according to that,” she explained.
