Dagoretti South constituency MP John Kiarie

Dagoretti South constituency MP John Kiarie has been heckled while attending a funeral service. MP John KJ Kiarie heckled at a funeral service.  Why was John KJ Kiarie booed? The MP attended a funeral service, and everything did not turn out as planned. The politician was giving his condolences to the family when a crowd started booing at him. At first, Kiarie ignored the noise and kept on speaking, but a lady had to cut him short to minimise the noise. He later responded to the tweet, stating that he read the room and had to cut his address short. “#TrueStory, hapa, I just read the room and said my brief pole to the family of my friend and sat down.” Why KJ Kiarie angered youths The reaction from the youths at the funeral service stemmed from his remarks about the anti-Finance Bill protests. He asserted that the Occupy Parliament protests on Tuesday, June 18, were staged. Kiarie contended that external forces do not influence decisions to be made in parliament. The MP argued that a parliamentary committee was engaging Kenyans about the Finance Bill 2024 long before what he termed a fake demonstration. “The lie persists, Mr. Speaker, because some of the photos that we were seeing out of the streets, I can tell you as a graphics editor that they don’t belong to this country,” Kiarie asserted. He further stated that people were taking photos from the internet, editing them, and posting them as Gen Z photos.
