The family of Samuel Kamau Kagwanja is in mourning after his body was found in Murang’a County. Murang’a: Body of Man Who Disappeared After Driving Out to Meet Friend Found on River Bank  Samuel left Laibon Gardens on May 2 to meet a friend but disappeared midway through the journey. A missing person’s report was filed at Sagana Police as distressed family members appealed for help from the public. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, family friend Charles Kamau revealed that the missing man’s body was found buried in mud on a river bank. “He was found downstream from where we suspected he fell into the river, although the vehicle is still missing,” he said. The family suspects that Samuel drowned because the bumper to his vehicle was found downstream. Samuel was on the phone the day he disappeared before the call dropped, with the recipient revealing that his last words were “Ngai Ngai Ngai.” As of the time of filing this report, the body had been taken to the morgue, awaiting an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The family is also hoping to recover the missing vehicle as it could provide clues to the tragic demise. On the fateful day, the 42-year-old drove out in his pick-up, a metallic grey Nissan Navara, registration number KBT 171.  As painful as the discovery is, it ends the weeklong search for the businessman and brings closure to the family. Samuel leaves behind a wife and three children. May his soul rest in peace.
