The Met Gala is referred to as fashion’s biggest night. The event is held every first Monday of May and this year, it fell on 6th May. The event went down at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This year’s dress code was ‘The Garden of Time’ and an exhibition dubbed “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,’ was displayed.
Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour approves the guest list for each year and this year, the event attracted A-list celebrities ranging from actors, musicians, models, designers, reality TV stars, journalists among others.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B were the talk of social media as they slayed the carpet while celebrities like Doja Cat walked the carpet wearing a towel.
