Kisumu dancing chief lands sweet deal with Huduma centre

 

Dancing chief from Kisumu John Ogilo Migun has landed a new job in the Kenya Kwanza government.

Migun, whose video went viral in the past one month has been picked to market the Huduma Kenya services besides his role as an administrator. 

In a video shared by Huduma Centre official Twitter handle on Saturday,  Migun is seen dancing alongside Huduma Center officials outside the Provisional Headquarters Building in Milimani.

“Sasa watu nguyaz, mabazuu na mayutman, services sasa ni saa moja asubuhi hadi saa moja jioni. Unatoka job, colle, ama works zako zingine unaingia Huduma center, na baada ya hiyo saa majo unaenda kutulia 

(Greetings my people and the youth, you can now access services here from 7 am until 7 pm. You can leave your workplace, college or any other engagements and you come directly to our Huduma centres, and after that, you go and chill,” he said.

The 38 year old is seen dressed in  Huduma Center-branded  clothes (white shirt)  as he urged members of the public to take advantage of the

"We went to have late lunch then we entered there where we were conducting some undercover investigations," Migun stated.

In an interview with Citizen Digital a few weeks ago, Migun said he had gone to the club to investigate drug abuse menace.

"Baada ya kazi, tulikua tumeenda mambo ya undercover kuhusu drug abuse, ghafla wimbo ambayo napenda ikatokea, nafahamu hio mziki na naipenda," he said. 

This is loosely translated to: "After my normal duties, I went for an undercover assignment in regards to drug abuse in the area, the 'kuna kuna' song which I like, came up, I am also familiar with it." 

Migun said as he was dancing, a guy he was with started recording him and he didn't know the video will go viral. 

After the video going viral, Kenyans urged government administrators to emulate Ogilo and find new ways of interacting with the youth to improve the relationship between the two parties.
