Managing Director of Bonfire Adventures, Sarah Kabu has responded to Willy Paul, saying that talent is not the cutting edge in getting gigs and that he should maybe use charisma.
Giving an example with her hubby Simon Kabu, the mother of two noted that despite him having two left feet, he will always entertain people on the dance floor.
“Sasa hata kama hatuna talent tuna mafans😍 tufanyeje sasa tukiitwa gigs 🔥my hubby has two left legs na vile yeye hu entertain kwa dance floor 👏more than the real dancers 😮”
She was also careful to note that she was a champion of talent. “Anyway, we respect and support talent 😂”
This conversation was sparked after the I do hitmaker wrote,
“Kenya is the only country where people with no talent get booked for gigs, actually having no talent at all is a qualification in Kenya. Just what you need to succeed… cartels are all over……
We got very talented individuals, but they are not given the opportunity to show what the world got!!
If we want to structure the industry, we must do away with mediocre artists and support real talent.”
Willy Paul also hinted that something was cooking as he said,
“We all know that our music industry needs fixing, too much talk with no action…if all goes well then they will forever thank me.”
Kenyans shared their sentiments on the matter writing;
kikuyu_og._: Mtu akiwa anakwambia a sad story na analia, unafaa kungoja for how long before niendelee kula mandazi yangu?😂
biteglory.__: Nahurumia huyu kijana😂😂😂Hana talanta
