Katangi Boys High School on fire

 

There is a fire inferno at Katangi Boys High School in Yatta, Machakos County now.

Multiple sources have revealed to the Star that the fire broke out at around 7.30 pm this evening.

Students, teachers and members of the community are trying to put out the fire.

Fire brigade from Machakos county government are yet to respond to the incident.

Yatta subcounty police Commander Mary Njoki has confirmed the incident.

"It's true the school is on fire and my officers are already at the scene. I will give you details of the incident in short while," Njoki said on phone.
