Former MP Peter Mwathi Allegedly Abducted During Limuru Funeral Chaos: “Was Taken By Subaru”

Speaking at the DCI offices on Thursday night, November 28, Kiambu Senator Karungo Thang’wa alleged that Mwathi was taken away by men in a Subaru vehicle.Hinting at possible DCI involvement in Mwathi's disappearance, he claimed their detectives are known for using Subarus and urged them to release him.
"We want to ask the DCI, please. We know you're the Subaru men. Mr. Mwathi was taken by a Subaru. Please return Mwathi to his spouse. The wife is here, the children are here, and of course they want their father and husband back," Thang'wa said. Nyandarua County Senator John Methu criticised the DCI for not granting them an audience since they visited the headquarters to inquire about Mwathi's whereabouts.
"The wife of the former Member of Parliament for Limuru is here at night. We have not even been given audience by DCI so they can tell us exactly where honourable Mwathi is," Methu said
